Dr. Joshua Kiers
Dr. Joshua Kiers is a Ross Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at The Ohio State University. He completed a BSc in Mathematics at Taylor University and a PhD in Pure Mathematics at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. His research interests include algebra, geometry, and combinatorics. A native of Canada, Dr. Kiers has taught calculus, introductory proofs, number theory, graph theory, and algebra in both undergraduate and graduate settings. He strives to make the beauty of mathematics engaging and accessible in the classroom and beyond. He and his wife Claire have one son.
