Dr. Emily S. Castellucci

Dr. Emily S. Castellucci is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Geography, teaching courses on Geographic Information Systems (GIS), cartography, geospatial databases, etc. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill before earning her Master of Science and PhD from the University of Georgia, all in geography with an emphasis on GIS. It was while she was pursuing her graduate studies that she discovered a passion for teaching, and she is committed to the enhancement of teaching and learning, both in geography and in other fields within higher education. Dr. Castellucci lives in Columbus with her husband, John, and they have a son, David.
