Dr. Joshua Watson

Dr. Joshua Watson is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in The Ohio State University College of Medicine (OSUCOM) and Nationwide Children’s Hospital (NCH). After completing undergraduate studies at the College of William and Mary, he received his MD from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in 2007. He then moved to Columbus for residency training in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at OSUCOM and NCH.  Following residency, he served as Pediatric Chief Resident at NCH and then completed fellowship training in Pediatric Infectious Diseases in 2015. As a faculty member, he enjoys teaching medical students during their pediatric clinical rotations. He also serves as the Infectious Diseases Rotation Director for the Pediatric Residency Program and is a member of the Evidence-Based Medicine Committee. His research interests include antimicrobial stewardship and pediatric urinary tract infections. Dr. Watson lives in Worthington with his wife, 3 children, and 2 dogs.
